Kaleidoscope is designed for spinel but should work in any RI 1.7 and higher in sizes 12mm and larger. I designed this original cut for a display and demonstration for our Medina Gem & Mineral Society Show. The design reminds me of the images I used to see through a Kaleidoscope as a kid hence the name. I like the design because it has a lot of facets that work the light as it is rolled and rotated.
