I too use only mineral oil. I use light mineral oil which I purchase at any feed or farm store. It runs about 17 dollars a gallon in one gallon lots. As Geodes4u says it is given to the larger animals and is not harmful to us as well. As far as reclaiming, I have enough so that I can change the oil in the saw and then just let the dirty oil sit for a couple of months in a bucket and settle. I can reclaim a little better than 3/4 of my original oil that way. Light mineral oil doesn't stink, has a very light fragrance, is good for your hands and has a high flash point, so it is not dangerous.
