Bob and Gary.. Thanks for the ideas.. I really jus wanted some consensus before I did anything. The two-bucket-settling tank system makes a lotta sense. I'm going to also put a baffle over the outlet from the primary bucket (overflow hose)...just in case! (alum. sheet with some holes in it). Actually, I might make up a another first-stage bucket..just in case I find that I have a problem with "Floating fines". (The agate in Jamaica tends to be very dense/tough tho, and settles in a flash...I find that the vibration of the saw machimery helps in compacting it, at which time it may be literally peeled off the saw box floor! ..So maybe I'll make the "pump" bucket part of the saw box and utilize the "good vibes"?? Oh, by the way I dont live in the States..rather Jamaica .. West Indies.. so alot of conveniences available to you are'nt here.
If I can get my USB potrts working, Ill take sum pics and download them here ..before Easter, I hope!! take care and thanks P.S. Remember, I have agate for sale..
