Re: Foam in Tumbler

Hi Joe

To start with I have been tumbling for over 40 years I have never had a foam problem with tumbling. Back in the mid 60s when I was in the Army I was stationed in New Mexico and there was a laundry mat just off base I use to do laundry at. They had a heavy duty water softener because the water was so hard. If you used the normal amount of detergent you would have soap suds all the place ( I mean if you used a cup of Tide you would have soap suds a foot deep around the machine). So what the laundry mat owner did was put a cup of liquid fabric softener in the machine and it toke care of the suds. It sounds to me like the same problem you might experiment with liquid fabric softener (about a tablespoon at a time) it wont hurt the stones at any rate.

Good Luck and keep us posted with your results.
Bob
