Hi Tony,

The maximum file size of a photo that will be accepted for upload by the Rock Net processing software is set to 1 megabyte.

There is no maximum pixel size of an image that can be uploaded (as long as the file size does not exceed 1 megabyte). However, for the sake of conserving allocated bandwidth, I reduce the maximum pixel dimension to 1200 pixels and perform a jpeg compression on images before I post them to Rock Net. I also sometimes crop submitted images before posting them if they contain excessive amounts of background.
