My wife and best friend of 35 years wants to see what the inside looks like. That is reason enough for me to make this investment. We have seen smaller specimens in shops and the grain is just gorgeous. Polishing might also be an option but it doesn't have any sides that are very flat.

I am a novice and know very little about rocks, petrified wood, cutting or polishing. I am just hoping that someone will step up and make some suggestions. Anyone want to see pictures? I have been the proud owner of this piece for about a month. I was hoping to get something done with it before the end of the year.
