There are several good Rock & Mineral clubs in the Denver Metro area; Boulder has a good club as is North Jeffco Gem & Mineral Club , both on the north end of things. There are several good books on Colorado mineral locations. Amazon is a good source for these books.
You are more than welcome to visit the North jeffco Gem 7 Mineral Club meetings the second Friday of each month at 7;30 P.M. Call 303-457-1392 for location and directions.
