Re: Bent diamond blade

I have looked for a local person in my area of Vancouver Island and found noone. I went and found an article in a really old issue of the Lapidary Journal. I followed the instructions and came away with a nicely straightened blade (a 12 inch blade of good quality). The pounding was done on a flat surface using a rubber mallet and 2 pieces of plywood. The original problem was not too severe and everything worked according to the article.
