Amazed you've gotten no response on this. Shaft size is determined by measuring the shaft diameter at the point where the blade goes on it, very likely 5/8". I have an E-5,10" saw, and it has a 5/8" shaft. Seems to be pretty standard size up to 16". In regard to the grease, I talked to the Union oil field rep. about this for my machines. He suggested "Omniguard QLT Grease 2", said that's as good as it gets.
