Re: Stabilizing turquoise?

Mitch,

I had a batch of Turquoise that I could not get to stabilize, and I was told by an old rockhound 50 years my senior to heat the turquoise up to about 140 degrees for about 20 Min. and then place in the acetone epoxy mixture. This did the trick and I have used it other rocks. Try it on a single rock to see if your happy with it.
