Stabilizing that penetrates the stone require a long involved heat, vacuum, etc. process.

The waterglass, epoxy tricks will never penetrate, they are good for surface treatment only. Find a professional stabilizer or sell it as chalk. If I may ask, where'd you get the chalk? I'd love to be able to pick up a couple hundred pounds.
