Jim, I'm leaning more and more towards silicified chrysocolla. The majority of the pieces seem hard enough to be silicified in nature. Still, a few of them are softer and appear to have never achieved that state. When I was first cutting them (the softer ones) I got the impression that maybe they were turquoise. The colors resembled some of the samples (Google images) I've seen of Royston Turquoise. That is why I was confused. If I knew the source that would be of great help as well, but I don't.
