Mike, I'm not sure of the origin of the moss agate. It was part of a parcel I acquired. It had 3 pieces of the moss agate the largest being the size of a soccer ball which I am unable to cut. The parcel had all kinds of material. Going back to the overseas job I was on. I did manage to buy a very sizable piece (fist size) of Persian turquoise from a local vendor also a very nice carving of a rabbit on a rock cut from turquoise for my daughter. She has a thing for bunnies.
