Re: Holly Blue

Warren,

I have spent most of my life digging HOLLEY BLUE agate on Scott Mt. south of my home town Lebanon, Oregon.

In the early 60s, their was a 61 lb. piece dug. photos in my web-site.
Though the site was closed in 1996. Due to Kids on four tracks going out of bounds. and both of the teens were drinking. And one decided to race to the north end of a road to fine a 2x6 bored and a 5/8 cable gating a road. I dug the site to the last day legal DAY, Some one three days later, meant a Linn county deputy to receive a $178.00 trespass ticket.

In short teen lose life hitting the cable at high speed.

And yes i wont say who dug with a track hole on site though its said the gentleman dug more then there fare share from the site.

Rock hunting is to be done BY HAND ONLY. if you are collecting as a hobby.

I to dig with a CASE shovel 580 back-hoe.
