Re: Spring Trip

Hi Ron
A couple years back I did just about the same trip you are planning from Minnesota going West. I went to a Lapidary Journal a couple years old at the time and started calling some of the dealers that were listed and found 3/4 them were out of business. What I did try and it worked out great was I mapped out the rout I wanted to take than made a list of the towns I would be going trough. I than went on-line to "Yellow Pages.Com" and put in the town and under the category "Rock Shops" (some of the on-line sites you can plug in a 25 mile radius). You can have the rock shop mapped so you can drive right up to the front door. I also called the rock shops I planed to visit to get their hours and days open. I than put all this information and maps in a binder.
Good Luck & Have a Great Trip
Bob
