Amethyst -> citrine heat process?

Does anyone know the process to convert amethyst to citrine by heating? I've found numerous references to heating it to about 400-450C, but I was hoping for a few more details, like ramp rate, atmosphere, etc. Any ideas?

Thanks!

TC
