Hi, Ward,
I have a 4000, and you're right, it starts at 5000 RPM. No foot controller, just the stand that holds it vertically with a level to lower it down.

And duly noted on the GFI, I wouldn't want to fry myself with an errant splash of water. That would take the cheer out of the holidays, wouldn't it?

Thanks for your advice. I need to look aroud for better bits and maybe get the hubby to rig me a drip device that I could use on the workbench near a GFI.
