Re: What equipment woudl be best to get?

Amanda I have had a Rock Rascal Model T for years and have found them to be rugged and indestructible. However I do like the price and top diamond unit of the Inland All In One machine.

Another option that I consider a better one would be to buy an Inland Diamond Top only and a Rock Rascal Model J 6'. With a $30 saw blade and a used motor, you are looking at a cost of $126 + $245 + $30 + $15= $416 or the cost of a Rock Rascal Model T. With two separate units you will not have to swap out parts all the time and will have very rugged separate rock saw and a top diamond wheel unit. When I first got the Rock Rascal I would abuse it by using it as a slab saw cutting half way through a too large rock and turning the rock over to finish cutting it. Here is a link to a very good 6 inch blade that is reasonably priced.
