I've seen anywhere from 25¢ per square inch at a club to $1.25 per sq inch at the local rock shop for the more common materials. Price tends to depend on the hardness of the material because of the wear the blade gets. Jade being the most expensive ($2 per sq in) to the 25¢ stuff being real soft turquoise and etc.
