You may have better luck finding a dealer who has a shop next to their home, but who mostly deal at rock and gem shows. Retail shops are getting fewer and further between as old timers retire.

Last time I went to the Topeks KS show, there were several fossil and one lapidary rough dealer from Indiania and Nebraska. Sometime clubs have web pages for their shows, and sometimes they list the dealers and hometowns.
