Help identifying formation

A friend of mine recently bought about 5 tons of rocks, ranging from Holley blue, to tigers eye, to petrified wood, to garnets, to quarts.

Everything you can imagine. That being said, I know almost nothing about rocks, but was trying to help him identify some.

One particularly interesting piece, to me, at least was this one:

I am trying to find a forum where I can locate some people to help me identify them.

My email address is, therightrig@yahoo.com

I am pleased to offer some of my finest mineral specimens. Some of them were released, many years ago, from major museums and significant private collections.
