Hose down and scrub your speciments with a plastic brush. Then try oxalic acid. This can be purchased from a number of places, Google it and you'll end up with several sourcs. Just be careful with this chemical and use it outside in a covered crock pot still in good condition. Stay away from the vapors! Very dangerous. Starting on HIGH run it for 30 minutes and then set to low for another 2.5 hours. Allow to cool to ambient. Have plenty of fresh water to rinse it off. I can't remember how much of the oxalic to use however...
