Out here, we call that material chalcedony. Kinda like a form of banded chert. It's all over the place. whitish, bluish, greenish, etc. If you don't like the way it polishes, it looks like you should be able to sell it to the flintknappers in your area for about $1 to $2 per pound, depending on how conchodially it fractures. (Oh - guard your source very seriously, or the rock club will clean it out in no time. Just imagine 20 rockhounds raiding the property!)
