Bi-fluorescent chalcedony

Recently, while searching through a box of rock odds and ends with my UV light, I came across a piece of chalcedony with a unusual property. The stone is translucent with a light brown body color in daylight. When placed in long wave ultra violet light the stone exhibits a distinct orange color. The same stone placed in short wave U.V. light exhibits a distinct green color. Is this bi-luminescent property common? Any ideas on what elements or compounds might be present to cause this effect?
