I polish geodes from golf ball size to softball size on a vibrating flat lap. The weight I fashioned to place on top of them is shot BB's in a plastic baggy wrapped in duct tape. I love duct tape. It works well for the larger geodes or flat slabs. The smaller geodes which are too big for the polishing wheels are the issue. What do you use for the smaller geode weights and the larger ones?
