Re: Restoring Hardened Handy Flux?

What I usually do when my Handy Flux hardens is to add a bit of water to the bottle w/the solid formation. At this point nothing really dramatic happens until you use a strong screwdriver slot edge, or other similar instrument and break up the formation while it is under water. Gradually pulverized the pieces with the water. The finer you can get this stuff the better. Something like a mortar pestle procedure. Care must be taken that you don't break the bottle while mixing. If you prefer remove the hardened Handy and break it up into a powder with a mortar pestle. Add water to make a paste of the consistency you like. I bought about a 2 oz bottle some years ago and every time I go to use it - it usually forms a solid chunk even if the lid is on tight. Then I start the process all over again. Not real sure of the mixture but care should be taken so as not to break the bottle if you go that way and also the dust when you break up the mass dry. Hope this helps! PS
