Yep, an ultrasonic cleaner should provide the best cleaning. The only problem is finding an ultrasonic cleaner large enough for the big specimen. I always had the best results by adding a drop or two of dishwashing detergent to the water in the ultrasonic cleaner bath. I also use warm water, seems to work faster.
