I have a Highland Park lapidary grinder Model B-52. Not sure if that's what you have, but even if it's not, the two machines are likely similar. Mine has two 8" grinding wheels in the center, an 8" expanding drum on the left, a muslin buff on the right, and a polishing head on the far-right end.

I bought mine used, with no documentation, so can't help you with that. However, I have taken mine apart, changed the wheels, replaced the belt, adjusted the belt tension, etc., and while far from an expert, may be able to help you out with whatever it is you are trying to accomplish.
