Polishing Sonoran Sunrise/Sunset

I'm having diffculty polishing the sonoran material. I've taken the material down to a 1200 grit finish which works great for all other materials I've polished. Then I use ZAM for the polish on a cotton buff wheel. However the sonoran material is not showing a great polish lusture as other chyrsocolla I've worked. I've tried using tin oxide on a leather belt also with not any good results.

What medthods have been used to create a good polish?

Thanks,
Alan
