Lake Superior stones

Hi, I just discovered this site, and it is really neat. I just uploaded 5 pics of Lake Superior rocks that we picked up recently. We got these rocks in the U.P. Michigan, and can't find what they are. We are assuming they are slag of some type, but so far no luck in finding info. I'd appreciate any help that I can get in identifying them. Thanks. Paxie
