i'm taking the wife and kids to crystal park in a few weeks and need to know a few things about it. this will be my 1st time there, so anything you tell me about the place will be welcome.

my questions are:
how deep do you dig before you start seeing crystals, and can you tell if your digging in a place that has been worked already.

and whats the best way to build a classifier screen. i was thinking about 1/4" wire mess on a box frame. simple and easy, but is that the right size and is there any other ways to build one that works better.

we well be taking a truck and camper on it and will be staying a few days, is there plenty of camping spots.

and is there any other places in around that area in south west montana to rockhound around and find anything.
