I live in Marble Falls and theres more flint here than you can shake a stick at. Go to any of the LCRA parks and its laying all over the place. I see it for sale on eBay all the time. The flint here has been prized for its knapping qualities for thousands of years. Thats one of the other great finds around here, arrowheads. Lots of them. The big problem with Texas is public access. Not much public lands in Central Texas. And youre not suppose to remove anything from a park. I guess the roadside would be fair game. There sure is plenty of it around here.
