Re: Texas Flint?

Hi, I live in Hill Country

Hi, I live in Hill Country, but don't collect flint. If you Google Texas knapping or something like that, you will find some sites that may have places to collect. From what I read, there are a few kinds of Hill Country flint.

Some towns around are Fredericksburg--great rock website; Austin and the suburbs.

River Bend Lapidary has some flint, but it is for buying.

Luck.
