mike i have tryed to use a tile saw like you are using its ok when used as a trim
saw cutting only about a 1/4" thick matterial. but to try using it as a slab saw
you would need some way to clamp the piece to the saw table and have a auto feed
for the saw because you don't want to have to hand feed the piece through the blade.
no matter what blade or coolant you use it may take 15 or 20 minutes to cut through a piece of agate. you have to go slow and without some type of a guard the mist from
the saw sure makes a mess.
