Hi Ed, I do believe you are looking for 'Flint Ridge Flint'. They are located at 15887 Flint Ridge Rd, Newark OH 43056. Your contact is Gary Hardy at 740-787-1578. This is all 5 or 6 year old contact info but I believe it is still good. www.flintridgeflint.com I've been there four or five times. Gary operates a flint mining operation and keeps his eyes open for material he considers "jewelery grade". This material is an extremely small fraction of what comes out of the pits. I do not believe he will let you (but ask) into the pits but he does heat treat the jewelery grade material and houses it in his barn/shop. I do not recall his prices but this material is awsome.
