M Winters, Keokuk, IA has quite a few geodes to look for. Down in Parks Hills, Mo there is druzy quarts. Arkansas has large quartz. In SW Missouri there is alot of fossils to look for. Have found crystals inside some of the fossils found there. Not sure about any mines in SW MO, but I do know there are quite a few of them around there. No reason not to check it out. Is there anything up your way to hunt?
