There are a couple of books to help you out, Gem Trails of British Columbia by Cam Bacon and A field Guide To Gold,Gemstones & Mineral Sites of British Columbia by Rick Hudson. I have found some other books but they are mostly cover to these two books. The lapidary society has a field trip page on their site and if you are a member of a club you can attend. I am always looking for new spots and get out as much as I can. I have hit several of the Fraser River Bars and with the water so low this year I found some big Jade on the Yale Bar. Up in Kamloops I have found a geode in the Watching Creek area and some up in Boston Bar. If you are interested in an online rock group that has other members in B.C. get back to me off this form. We are planning to hit several locations on the May long weekend.
