I recently began collecting mineral specimens and have some fist sized rocks and smaller that likely contain minerals of certain locales. I was advised to trim them into pea-sized pieces to find pockets containing minerals. I have no idea how to accomplish that. I assume I would use a rock saw, but know nothing about them. Does anyone have suggestions on what equipment I should use? Thanks so much.
