Hey everyone, I could a few suggestions from those that know the area. This summer I'm hoping to spend some time in MO visiting family, but also doing some mineral/rock collecting while I'm at it! Other than MO, I'm also thinking of going into NE OK (say around the Tulsa area), into SE KS (possibly as far as Rock City - and I hear that septarian nodules/concretions can be found in KS?), down into AR for some quartz (appreciate any suggestions on good fee sites), and up to the Keokuk area, for the obvious reason of the geodes. I do have a copy of Midwest Gem/fossil/mineral trails by Zeitner, but I would appreciate hearing from anyone w/ first hand experience, suggestions, or knows of some other spots. Thanks! -Dave
