Re: drilling jasper?

I know this is an old post, but you may find what you are looking for from this ebay seller,http://stores.ebay.com/THK-Diamond-Tools. I have bought about 50 different drills from Lau and have had very good results with his diamond drills. He sells several different types, so make sure you let him know what you want to drill.

I don't submerse my stones when drilling, but I do apply constant water when drilling and also use very light pressure when I contact the rock. Us an up and down motion to keep the cut clean. I use a craftsman bench mount drill press and use an up and down motion of about 1/8th inch. I drill holes in agate that are 3" deep and can drill at least 3 or 4 holes without ruining the diamond.

My local rock shop sells diamond drills but they don't last near as long as these and they are more money. David
