The coordinates I have written down are 105 57' 00" W, 38 38' 11" N, obtained several years back, that would be on the road downhill from the mine, not at the mine itself.

The last I've heard, within the past year, is that the Calumet is currently under active claim and being worked.

If you have followed the directions in "Gem Trails of Colorado" you will not have arrived at the Calumet, but rather at a marble mine that is a ways on down the road from the Calumet. (Even the photo shows the road to the marble mine, not the Calumet) the Calumet is not visible from the road, it is up a VERY steep hill from the road.
