You are going to have to get a book like gem trails of wyoming. The area is so vast, from Oregon Butes to the Green River. The blue forest is best knowm and covers a large area. Google it and find what you want to know. Guides aren't necessary and probably not available unless you can find some local rockhounder that would be willing to show you around.
