Re: Re: Royston Turquoise Fee Digging?

Thanks, Phil. I saw that show on TV and thought at the time, oh-oh, there goes the neighborhood. I harbor sort of a love-hate relationship with where-to-go TV shows, love because they open up areas I never knew about, hate because I know everybody and their dogs are also going to head that direction. I'm also guilty of the same type of exposure. For years I wrote outdoor articles for national magazines, many of the where-to-go type. I refused, however, to highlight streams and lakes, or hunting areas, that could not withstand the man hours of hunting and fishing pressure such articles invariably generate. By simply stating "it's in", say, Southern Colorado's San Juan Mountains, I figured only the serious minded would go to the trouble of running down the actual place. Again, thanks for the information. I'll now run down the nitty-gritty needed to dig at Royston.
