Re: Slab Saw vs Trim Slab Saw????

Hello Cindy:
I have never heard of a "trim slab saw". It is usually a "trim saw", or a "slab saw". Size is the determining factor. 4" to 10" would be the trim size, and 12" on up would be the slab size. Also, trim saws are not automatically driven by a gear or belt. For the size of material you are wanting to cut, you would need an 18" slab saw. They are expensive, but if you check around, good old used ones are still available. Hope this helps. Slabbing is a lot of fun. Timothy
