Looks a lot like Smithsonite because of the color and bubble like surface. The pictures do not show the fracture patterns very well but it does not look like glass slag. It could also be chalcedony or possibly commom opal but u need to look at a fracture edge closely. If it looks like the edge of a broken glass then it probably is slag if not and it's smithsonite from mexico or opal it's likely worth more than $5.
