Appears to be a slag melt as a result of refining process or it could be a dirty glass cullet chunk. Try knocing off a little corner and if the fracture is glasslike it should answer your question. We often find melted globs like the one picture at the site of a colonial era furnace that processed local copper ore with local anthracite coal. Some are very glasslike (probably due to the fluxes used) while other retain a metallic content but I belive your is the end result of a glassmakers furnace cleanout. They make cool yard rocks but not a lot of value unless the glass has obtained a unique color from aging
