Re: Cutting and Polishing Ulexite

Your post was the only one found relating to ulexite so I hope you can help me. I have a rock that I bought 40 years ago and it was pretty clear then. Images "rose" clearly to the top. Now it is is so cloudy that you cannot read anything. Is there a way to repolish or clean them so they are like new again? I cannot find any rock stores in my town so I wondered if Jewelers had the necessary equipment to help. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
