Re: Re: Re: Any honest rock suppliers on ebay?
I have been a member of ebay almost since day one, my they have grown for the worse, but are still a good source for many things. If you use ebay very much you can usually spot the suspicious stuff. I will ALWAYS look at a sellers feedback - not just at the number, but look into the feedback file to see what kinds of things the seller has sold - look at the auctions themselves and what the buyer said.
I typically will not purchase from any seller with tons of sales and feedback and likewise will not buy from sellers with too little. I like to buy from sellers that have like 60 to 200 sales - of similar items to what i am buying. Do always ask questions too - the response spped and quality help to keep you out of the grasp of the theives.
I think ebay is a better place to buy than to sell - on ebay I get about a tenth of what i can sell items out of my storefront for.
They are also an excellent place to do rersearch for your own appraisals. If it exists it likely has been sold on ebay, and the more comparable sales one can research the better appraisal they can do.
