Well, it is a sue happy country we live in and we do need to protect ourselves, don't we? Which is why I asked if the "hold harmless" alone is really enough protection for a rock club. Especially when minors are part of a field trip. The states of Colorado, Utah, Washington and Texas view liability wavers / hold harmless docs signed by parents as invalid since it takes away the minors right to request compensation for injury dispite parent's signature. State of Arizona has no actual law against the limited liability thing but courts there generally are prejudiced against them especially where minors are concerned. My actual interest was for state of California stance on the issue, but I haven't yet found an answer. Maybe someone around here knows?
