Sanela: Posoti, WHERE? That town name is in CA, AZ, NM, & several Mexican states. The yellow COULD be breakdown product & MAY be greenockite; I need more info & if you can mis-ID as cuprite, YOUR someone else could mis-ID as sphalerite. Besides realgar, you could have cinnabar, which is better, but still requires different cleaning.
Don: this person is a rank beginner; they have no idea how to tell what you are asking. Did you notice that not one mention was made of the LACK of any green or blue staining You're asking that NOW!)? on a LARGE specimen? Even an intermediate-beginner would have noticed & mentioned that. If this is out of AZ, it could be all 3 possibilities.
All in all, we need more info & PICS (you'll need to send one to me). Did you gleam my e-addy off the header? I await your reply.
